How soon can my flight be scheduled? We can typically schedule the flight between 2-5 days after paperwork is submitted.
-
What is there is bad weather the day of the shoot? The weather is always a factor when scheduling a drone flight. When weather conditions are not good enough to fly, we will work with you to reschedule the flight within 48 hours.
-
Are there any special licenses or permits that have to be acquired for shooting at my location?During the preflight planning process, we research your job location to see if there are any flight restrictions. If the location is in controlled airspace, we will request an authorization with the FAA for your flight. As a general rule of thumb, if your location is within five miles or a major airport we will need to get an authorization. Depending on how close the location is to the airport, the altitude may be limited to a max of 100 feet AGL.
-
Do I need to be on location at the time of the scheduled shoot? No you don’t! You are welcome to be on site when our pilot is, but it is not necessary. We make sure to ask the right questions beforehand, so we know what we need to capture on location without you there.
-
Do you have a business license and insurance?Yes! We are a licensed business and offer insurance on a per flight basis for any job that requires liability insurance. Since this is an optional service, we do not provide it except on an as need basis. Certificate of insurance for your flight will be provided if needed.
